Welcome to Peninsula U-19 RugbyRugby is the largest club sport in America with over 60,000 participants. It is a predecessor sport of American Football and was developed from soccer. Our league will play in the Rugby Virginia League which is one of the fastest growing High School division in the Country, RugbyVirginia.com. Rugby Virgina is a member of the National Governing Rugby organization, USA Rugby, USARugby.org. Warwick, Bethel, Kecoughtan, and Menchville High Schools make up the Peninsula District Rugby League. Cost - The equipment necessary to play Rugby is relatively minimal (think soccer). All the dollar cost will be bore by the individual players i.e. CIPP insurance, medical insurance, rugby shorts, socks, cleats, and mouthpeice or by corporate sponsors. Insurance - All Players will be required to do the following: A. Have a Parent or Guardian sign Insurance Waiver B. Obtain CIPP insurance, 3rd party Insurance Coverage Policy (USA Rugby Membership) C. Provide proof of medical exam within 12 months D.
